My rabbit having babies yesterday, but unfortunately they do not want to nurse their children. Can I feed them with the milk bottle and what I need it?

I BRING YOU THE HOPE! I wanted so it's already happened more than once that one of my doe not suck their young. I've got a plastic syringe at the doctor and then whole milk slightly warmed and nursed the little ones. While it is still happened that one has been received, but have managed to have been the best bunnies we had. They are like little dogs running after us and have us eating out of hand. However, you need time and patience, the kids need your time every 2 hours. It is beautiful when the mom is still with in the cage. Put a hot water bottle and calm under the cage, but pass on, it is not too warm. If you have a red light, it is even better! Let me know if you succeed, I'll push your thumb all I can find!! Good luck

It may even look as if the boys would not be accepted! Rabbit mothers 'ignoring' their young for most of the day and usually only nurse 1-2 times a day. Possibly. You can wait a couple of hours before you "intervene" until you are sure that the young are not cared for?

why are you so sure that you do not feed them? Rabbits suckle only about 2 times a day to their young. looks mostly at night and the rest of the time it this way than if they ignored the boys. as long as the tummies are round and the small increase is not a problem. if they decline sharply and dirty and cold sin, turn thee to a vet. Since you will have a special milk and feed instructions. Look at the times of the female mammary glands, usually they would be swollen when she nurses.

hello, there are the vet and the pet store special powdered milk and that is cat-rearing milk, which can be fed with syringe, are flask too large, however, has franky right, it works as good as ever, I know from personal experience, because the the rabbit can not digest milk as well and usually respond to clogging. rabbit suckle their young but also only 2-3 times per day or at night. you can only wait and see whether they are increasing. The exact feeding instructions will tell the vet. I still wish you luck and everything good.

Since there will be very special milk, but that's not normal for rabbits (rabbits rather well). Is it the first time that she gives birth? Then pass the time. I fear however, when she nurses not diie boys that they will respond that you can not coddle these naked worms alone. After question time in a pet shop.
