So Annying!!!

I have been sitting here on the computer for several hours and those stupid pop ups keep coming on the screen like every 5 to 10 minutes saying congratulations you are the winner!! Today's winner for a $1,000 dollar gif card of your choice and other ones say the wal mart one what is that? How do I make it go away? That is starting to really annoy the you know what out of me! Does this happen to you?

If you have Cash Gofer, uninstall it and they will stop. I had the same problem after I installed Cash Gofer. When I uninstalled it because of slowness issues, all the pop-ups stopped. Best Wishes!

it's called adwares.. I have faced the same situation.. what I did was.. first I ran ccleaner and removed all browsing history and temporary data.. then I installed spybot search and destroyed and antimalwarebytes.. and scanned and removed all the infected entries and got rid from this..

Hi ja hernandez rivas: Yes it has happened to me, especially using some pages. I hate them, they are really annoying and even if new browsers have anti pop ups, they usually don't work at some pages. And the only thing you can do is to close them and keep your work. ALVARO

It depends of which site are you looking right????? I hate that too. I don't think it is kind of virus tho. Well, try to avoid thoses sites then. Maybe it can help you..if not jus block the pop-ups !! good luck and relax! hahhaha

That sounds like a virus. Usually pop ups will only happen once or twice on the same site, but if this keeps popping up on different sites that usually do not have popups, this is probably a virus. If not a virus, then check to make sure pop ups is turned off in your internet options on your browser. If it is a virus, you'll have to reinstall windows.
