Do you think youth should participate in politics and compete on election. I think it will ruin their education.A man should serve his family first and then the country. If they elected as minister and they don't have any experience how to rule a country or a particular department.

Youths are not corrupted.
The person who will teach them corruption is already present in the system.

I do not think that the youth should actively participate in politics. It surely hampers their education. After completing at least a graduation degree one should think of stepping into politics.Nothing good can be done without the support of a strong and solid educational background.Rahul Gandhi, for instance,is the favorite of the youth in India. His intelligence and strong educational background is what makes people look up to him and think of him as the shoulders that can handle the administration efficiently.I do not think the youth should compete in elections.Because so many of them step into politics in their early days without proper knowledge on how to run the administration,we have uneducated people as our ministers and politicians who themselves don't know what they are saying!
In my college days there was a lot of pressure, specially on the first year boys who had newly joined college to join a party that operated in our college.I have seen some of my friends taking an active interest in party-politics,fighting elections, fighting each other but at the end of it their results were too poor to even be mentioned. That is why I do not support the participation of the youth in politics.
Power corrupts. Human beings are hungry for power so if at the ripe time of one's education one seeks to join politics,he can never manage both his education and politics successfully and will lose out on one of the sides.

A man should serve his family first and then the country.... Many people defied that line, some of them became great persons and others just helped in it... So not sure whether I agree with that line.
If a young person gets elected as minister and don't have any background knowledge/experience then it's not their fault. It's the fault of people who elected them, especially who made them ministers. BTW it applies in civil services too, where young people get administrative posts with only theories at their disposal. There they get a lot of help from senior(in age) people around them. Same could be done in politics too. Still not suitable for ministerial posts...
In my personal opinion, youths are quite quick in gloating over a mild achievement and they lack a greater vision. While their enthusiasm serves the causes, it's not as matured as to give a guidance. So they may participate in causes dear to them, better if they keep from way-too-much politics and competing in elections.

In our country, politics is very dirty. There are always a lot of issues on vote buying and cheating. More than that, most of those who are in positions are still the very same family who was there before. It seems that politics in our country has become sort of a milking cow for people or some sort of a business. People who got the money will run, they win and from there they do a lot of things to recover what they have spent during the election and even more. I think, they are the reasons why our country is suffering. I think, I will never put myself in such position.

Even in my country there is a lot of corruption.Politics is a game here where those in power have the larger share of the cake and the ordinary people get the left-overs.Recently there has been a huge movement in India led by Anna Hazare who protested against this corruption and went on a 12 day fast, supported by millions of Indians. The government would not budge at first but then they had to bow down to his grit and determination and now they have decided to negotiate.

Hello hafiz! In my opinion, I think, youth have all the right of being aware with what's happening around us and that they should care as per the saying, "the youth is the hope of the future" says. And if indulging in politics or becoming a politician makes a particular young people achieve that, then I think it's great! I just hope that he/she will not turn out ruining this popular saying in the end and ruining his life and dream for himself and for the nation. Happy myLotting!

I think its important for Politicians to listen to what the youth are saying and how they feel on issues that affect them, but I think they should not be part of any election until they are adults and have an established career and education behind them.
