surprise!
that's one word to describe the outcome of the game Manchester United vs Arsenal. Who guessed one of big four EPL, Arsenal could be shaved off with landslide score 8-2. Arsenal are being apprehensive after left Fabregas and Samir Nasri, but the score is still not acceptable to the Arsenal fans remember their capacity as a big team. Some people blame Arsene Wenger because his philosophy is too conservative and economical known in the affairs of buying players, but in a crisis situation like this, Arsenal and Wenger should ignore their principles for a moment and try to do the transfer in accordance with their current needs. Remember, the fight in the more stringent EPL, Wenger! See what Manchester City and Liverpool. They have done great revolution!

I think this question was unthinkable till two years back. But the last two years, Wenger's stubbornness in accepting weaknesses within the team and for proper transfer business has really brought this question to fore. I think Wenger has been too long with a club now and he might need a new change. Probably Arsenal football club might also require a new direction from here on.
Having said that I think we should give Wenger this season as at this early stage itself Arsenal is more or less out of the competition. So Wenger can get the boys to play without any pressure of competing for the title and that could help him in his mode of team building.
Cheers!

The point is, if he says that there are no players who meet his criteria currently then his criteria is definitely wrong. Also, if the current lot have all cleared his criteria, then the results are definitely not encouraging. I think the last smart defensive buy from Wenger was Sol Campbell. Vermaelen is a decent player, but apart from him Wenger has not been able to buy a leader in defense. The same is the story of the Goalkeepers. I think midfield is a area of strength for Wenger and he chooses wisely here. Again in the forward lineup the last smart buy was Van Persie!!
Cheers!

let me give you more explanation..
wenger want to buy player..
but the problems is not the money...
Arsenal had a money for buying a player...the problems is not many player which suitable for Wenger criteria...why wenger must push himself for buying an player will not suitable for his scheme??

I am actually quite impressed with the strategy of player transfers ala Arsene Wenger, but it seems like in this situation, Wenger must be sufficient enough fleksibel.arsenal need senior players and experienced and able to be a motivator for young players. Wenger has always thought that young players are kind of investment for arsenal future, but the fans seems began to get tired of waiting...![](/Content/images/emotes/confused.gif)

To be honest, I am disgusted with that score. I have supported Arsenal for ever, but I will never leave them. I do disagree with Wenger's tactics, he lets the contracts of our most important players run out and signs people we have never heard of. This year, which was supposed to be the most competitive years, we have been hit harder than usual and we are left with a team of boys in a men's league. However, I do believe this team has potential if they stay together and we get a few more experienced players from the Nasri and Fabregas money. I just hope we can turn it around before GW 10 as there is still a lot of play left in the season.

i know that many "newcomer" in football blame Wenger...
..
if you read many articles about football, no one who think expert can blame mr Wenger...
you can count from Sir Alex Ferguson and Pep Guardiola...and Rooney, the player who score 3 goals...
all of them refuse to say that this is Wenger fault and mistake...
wonderful...They give them Sympathy for wenger...
we must differentiate one by one in this case...
arsenal come in MU home with many problems..Their "team structure" is not stable after many players go away...
And some of the exist player get injured and suspension.....

so don`t blame too much wenger..
wenger had say sorry to all arsenal fans..
and if they are really and true arsenal fans, they will understand that Wenger is the first man who hurt when see his men lost like that
they are shy and wenger is more shy than everyone who claim arsenal fans..
i think wenger will do anything to fix everything..
if you ask me, i want to learn wenger habit..
he will be calm, not to panic and ask his scout talent go to Holland, France and some of South Africa to see many youngster who had a talent...

I realize Wenger must be very shy...
It's the worst result of Arsenal match ever! who can imagine Manchester United can beat Arsenal 8-2! everyone shout out for this result. I'm not fans of both, so I give my neutral opinion here.I give my sympathy to Wenger, it's difficult situation after Nasri and Fabregas gone, Wenger must search new great player that can subtitute Nasri and Fabregas.Wenger boys need motivation and player that guide them, I think they need one senior now. what do you think?

I agree with you adhyz ...
Arsenal came to Old Trafford with a lot of problems and I've read a lot about the response of the players and great coaches. all of them understand the condition of arsenal but on the one other hand they still wonder why arsenal, especially with the score a landslide victory
so what do you think should arsenal do adhyz? so you really do not agree if Arsene Wenger get fired even he doesnn't give any title yet for last seasons? what arsenal need to do? do you think buy new competitive player will be effective?![](/Content/images/emotes/whistle.gif)

Remember that UEFA has introduced Financial Fair Play, and if they stick to it, in a short period of time teams like City, United and other teams which spend a lot won't be able to participate in European tournaments. I would never take City, Chelsea or any big spenders as good examples, they are destroying the football.
As for the result, this can happen from time to time, look at the first El Classico from last year, and the title race was pretty close, despite that 5-0. Of course, nobody expected this score at Manchester-Arsenal, but it is only one game.

It is not about FIFA, it is about UEFA. And they will start to punish teams three years from now on, as they have given this period of time for the teams to solve their problems. I just hope that they will stick to it and football will return to a better path.

i think that arsenal should change its policy because it will destroy the club, now they dont know that they should care about a team which is one of the greatest teams and the most known teams in the world..it became just an investment not a team which looks for winning they care only about money ,they bring youth develop them and sell them without caring about this club and it's fans who deserve more than this stupid policy ...i am not a fan of arsenal but it's bad to see arsenal losing 8

I agree with you... I think that's enough for Arsenal and Arsene Wenger to keep their principle
Manchester United gave them worthy learning and they should get it and make a change soon.buy new player, not a young experienceless player but player with good skill and have good experience.I heard they wish to buy Kaka, what do you think?
