What is your best time to read, except reading novels or newspaper in your toilet? i love to read in the night and i am reading since childhood. i love reading and n my childhood days we were asked to read dictionary a lot. so i am still in a habbit of reading dictionary. Actually it is good. because when you read dictionary, your vocabulary increases immensely. you learn so many new words and then your diction also improves. do you like to read? when our baby grows and starts reading, i will make her also read different books and of course dictionary. i think it is the best thing. what do you say?

I read morning noon and night I love to read. I always make sure my chores around the house are done first. I really do most of my reading in my bath relaxing at night once my daughter is in bed or in bed after bath.

I too enjoy reading in the night since chilhood. My doctor told me to stop it b'coz it would affect my eyes I never listened, now I wear glasses. I thint the best time to read is in the evening your mind is fresh, but still I like reading in the night. I always read Dan Brown Publications they include friction, consprency theores, horror etc. Now, i'll start with the dictonary to improve my vocabulary. Can you give me the name of the dictonary you use, I have an Oxferd dictonary & its difficult to understend it... :)

I love reading in the night,i enjoy the quietness and nobody could disturb me.I could feel inside the plots of the books,it's like such an amazing world for me in the night.I love dreaming and then thought about the plots after reading.lol.It's been really a good experience for me and i feel conscious in the night.

I love to read at night-time. Also, on rainy days when I have nothing else to do and when everybody else in my household is out and I`m home alone.. Those are the best times becuase I can fully get into the reading material without someone interrupting my flow. Reading has always been something fun and relaxing for me to do. A way to escape from reality for a while so I think it`s a great idea to get your children into reading.

It's important to read because the more you read, the more you have knowledge. But it's not necessary to read at night because when i read at night,i feel sleepy and i can't understand what i'm reading.

I love reading too. I didn't get your point thoroughly. Do you mean the best time, like a stage of life ? Or the best time of the day ? I think reading in the morning, sitting on a swing, drinking a soft beverage, and enjoying the weak sunlight makes it perfect to get every word out of any text. I don't read dictionaries, though. However, what I do is reading novels and scientific books, then I take note of every word whose meaning I don't know. After having finished reading I go and look for each word in the dictionary. Sometimes I take notes of the context of the word, so I can make my own sentences and eventually incorporate such words to my vocabulary. Sometimes I forget some words, but at least, when I get upon it again, I have a general idea of the complete sentence.

For me just anytime is good time for reading. But yes night time is more convenient because usually nights are not as engaging as the days might be. Mostly I like to read novels and stories at night but sometimes I would prefer a magazine or even news paper. To be honest reading dictionary doesn't interest me that much. Personally I think it's better to read books in that language which you are trying to learn than reading dictionary because that way you not only learn the new word you also get to know in what context you can use the word.

I love to read at nights most especially before bedtime. A chapter or 2 and then I go to sleep. It's refreshing for me for the mind to read so that it will not be idle. At least I get to have my imagine and picture out what I am reading to have it functioned before I let myself relax. :D

I love reading at bedtime, but it's bad for my sleep. If it's a really gripping book I find myself saying, "Just one more chapter" again and again and I suddenly realise it's going to get light out soon! Reading the dictionary must be good for your vocabulary of course, but it's a bit of a dry read. Not many gripping plots!

I love to read books almost anytime. I am an avid traveller, so a book is my constant companion. So whenever I travel irrespective of what time it is I usually have a book with me. At home too I usually read when I have time, which is usually one hour before my afternoon nap or my night's sleep!! Cheers! Ram

I have developed the habit of reading while I eat. I enjoy it. I have a little stand to hold the book upright. I read a different book with each meal. I prefer fiction. While I only manage to read a few paragraphs at a time, curiously, I get through books a lot faster than if I sat down for hours with one book.

I read mostly novels and I read at night before I sleep, during coffee breaks and lunch breaks. I read one book a day. I always have a book in my bag so that wherever I go I can read while waiting for something or someone. :))

Yes! I love to read novels at night during bed time until i fall asleep.Thats when i forgot which page that i stop.Until then i've learned my lesson and only stop reading it when my eyes really cannot hold on any longer.Last time during school times,i used to study at nights too coz it makes me memorize it more easily.

I read the dictionary during our semester break. But, it is the dictionary of the samsung phone of my cousin. I got some new words from there. But, I forgot most of those that I've read. We will soon have our midterm examination and of course, I will be reading my notes again. I find it easier to take in or digest what I am reading when I read during the night. I find it hard to grasp the topic when I cram or rush the review. So, this coming examinations, I will be reading my notes earlier and at night.
