Do you guys use coupons?

Do you guys ever use coupons when purchasing things?This is an excellent way to save money.I just got into using coupons about a year ago and its well worth the time and effort.Have you ever seen the TLC show Extreme Couponing?I want to be that good one day.

I try to but I always forget them! I have not seen the extreme couponing yet but I did hear about it and I have heard of people using so many basically getting a lot of groceries for hardly anything and I would love to take the time one day and do the same!!!

Me too,jahernandezrivas.Those people go in grocery stores and buy not 100's but 1000's of dollars worth of groceries for nearly nothing.The good thing about the people they show though donate alot of what they get to shelters.That's awesome!!!

I have tried to use them before but the only ones i use most of the time is for out to eat. like kids eat free days and get 25% off bill . things like that. i wish i could find more like that.

Yeah those also really help especially if you have more than one kid.Eating out gets expensive and every little bit helps.

Currently I don't use coupons. But if I had a printer, I probably would start. There's a few sites I've wanted to get coupons for to use mainly because not only do I get the use of the coupon and save money with it but I also get a second return on it. Specifically Swagbucks, for example. Not only could I print coupons but they give you ten SBs for every coupon used.
And I have seen a little bit of Extreme Couponing. It really would be pretty nice to be able to get to that level and pay hardly to nothing for stuff I need.

When I was a kid, there were a few coupons in the newspapers. But then green stamps came along and the coupons mostly disappeared.
Now it seems that coupons are purely an American thing. With the number of "coupon" posts here on mylot increasing daily, or so it seems, it sounds like coupons are something NEW to America. I'm sure they aren't!
Is it purely the effect of a TV show? Or isn't there anything else to post about?

No petersum,there are plenty more things to post about.This is something I enjoy doing because I love saving my family money.Therefore I choose to post something about it and see if anyone else has the same interest.That is why were all here isnt it?To post and respond to things that interest us?

Yes I have seen the advert on T.V for the extreme couponing show, It would be brilliant if you got to that level! I try to collect as much points on my reward cards with my local supermarkets but never manage to get anything more than a couple of pennies off my next shop! Still.......every little helps :-)

You are right CharityHobbs27.Every little bit does help.I am loving Bilo's gas perks right now.Lord knows gas prices are outrageous so that helps at the pumps as well.
