Has anyone ever realized how almost every new television show on Nickelodeon and Disney Channel about extraordinary children with amazing talents and wealthy families? It seems that everyday children are never going to be able to live up the expectations of those displayed on these television networks. The hit Nickelodeon show 'Victorious' is about rich teenagers going to a special school for the gifted in the middle of Hollywood. Same with the newer program 'A.N.T. Farm' on Disney Channel; it's about more students with "Advanced Natural Talents" going to a high school because of their 'special' abilities. These messages are telling the everyday children that unless they have money, looks, and extreme talents; they aren't ever going to be successful. Anyone have any personal opinions about the matter?
