Have you ever made an app?

I was interesting in learning how to make apps for iDevices, such as the iPhone and iPod, and I was wondering if anyone out there in myLot world had ever made an app and then posted it for sale (or for free) in the Apple App Store.....

I tried making one but it was supposed to be for java-enabled phones. I realized then that java is too much too handle so I just quit. I wasn't planning on selling it, by the way. I was just planning to make a organizer but I wasn't able to grasp the concept of calling out or returning the internal clock and the calendar of nokia phones, it's a bit complicated for me.

I know that there is at least one website that takes people's ideas and helps them develop them into apps, though I haven't thought of any good ideas for apps. If I did, I would know where to go. I don't think I could learn all of the coding myself, and I don't even know what kind I would have to learn.
