Everyone knows about the Hell I have been enduring regarding my job situation. You even have been praying for me, and advising me on things I should do, and wishing for the Best. Many have advised to just go find another job while telling this one goodby.
Well, I have filed many papers on the job I am at, and filing with the EEOC this week. I have been told it is 100% discrimination and fileable by law, and no matter what happens from here I have done what I need to do. Even if I get another job, everything is in order and the complaint stands and will be looked at.
But I do have a job Interview on Thursday for a Receptionist job. I am very familiar with the place, and everything there is way better than where I am at, so asking for Prayers for favor with God for this job, and I will update you after the interview.

That's nice to hear that you are able to move on with life. Only few people are capable of doing that, and those who did, experience unmatched happiness and fulfillment. We just wish more good things happen to you.

Thanks!! I know that many times too many people are treated like I am every day and too many places are allowed to get away with it. For me I felt it was worth doing to protect others that I work with as well. There are many situations that have happened that I feel the boss needs a Heart in, and even though there are still an issue or two, I feel that in time I have done my part as well.

KrauseHome: Yes I remember your posting about your health and I have been posting prayers to God for helping you.
This time, yes I will request God to help you find a new job of your liking. Be positive. Be hopeful. In the new company do not tell about health problems more.

Thanks my friends. I did not get this other job, so I am still at the job that I have had issues with over time, and know the Prayers have helped in a lot of ways and God is truly in control. I am still wanting a better job, but due to my leg wound not being completely healed yet, I know I need the medical so until this happens I am best off where I am at. Still waiting to see what the outcome will be on a couple of issues, but things are definately better than what they were.

Well if you have been following my other discussions, I did not get any of these other jobs I have since had interviews for and feel that God is in control. I am still waiting for my wound to completely heal, and then I will try applying for New jobs and hope for the Best from there. As for the job, things have gotten better. Most of the issues have been a lot better, except for the expected raise, and made a complaint and a couple more requests and reminders on that, and waiting to see if anything ever becomes of that one as well.

Congratulations! I am happy that you will be able to do something about your job, with the law. Also Good Luck on your job interview. I hope you get it if you want it! It may be worth taking another job, just to get out of where you are. Things will probably be worse for you there now that you filed a complaint. Again, Good Luck!

Well, as I am sure was for the Best, I did not get hired for that job, and they decided to go with someone else. Since my leg is still not completely healed even now, I feel that this was for the Best and if I am supposed to move on once my leg is healed God will open the door for something better, and since I have filed complaints with the EEOC, etc. about my job things have gotten better. Still waiting on the raise but we will see what happens.

Well, I did not get the job which is probably for the Best considering that my leg is not healed yet. Since making the complaint, things are a lot better and my Boss has worked with me. Just waiting to get the raise I am due, and continuing to hope for something Great to come from that soon.

oh tina that sounds so good I will surely send prayer for favor with
God to get you this great receptionist job.So yes keep us
updated and i will keep my fingers crossed too that you
ace this job.My friend Nelda went through something of what
you are going through and got one hundred per cent discrimination
against her because she had diabetes and they had to pay her
for a whole years work too while she looked for a much better
job. So she won out all around on that she really deserved it
too after all the misery that they had put her through. she was accused of sleeping on the job when if the idiots had helped'
her check her blood sugar they would have seen she was just low and needed some orange juice and a little snack. they knew she had diabetes as she told them when they hired her. I never had any complaints because i was a diabetic when I worked in the library. in fact my boss had a coworker take me home when I went very lot and was not docked for the hours I missed either.

Hatley you are one of the lucky ones, Not all have a boss or supervisor as understanding as yours was. People who worked under me where also lucky as I had diabetes so I kept
Tina has gotten lucky here at last in that she has possibly got a line on a better job. My mother always told me that when god allowed something bad to happen to us he was strengthening us for something better.

Well as you know I did not get any of the other jobs I applied for, and am still with the dispatch job for the Taxi company. Since I made the complaints to the EEOC, my situation at work is better with still some minor glitches. but I know for now until at least my leg is completely healed, this is where I am supposed to be.

That sounds great, Tina!! I hope all of it works out. Plus once the complaint is filed it cannot be taken back and the company can be fined or could have to pay you a settlement. That's really good, I thought it was discrimination according to my limited studies but wasn't really sure! Hope the interview goes great too!!

Well, I did not get the job I interviewed for which is OK. I know that God is in control, and since my leg is not completely healed I will stick with the job I have and then try for something around the first of the yr. and go from there. It has made some difference since I filed the complaint and they contacted my Boss. Waiting to see how much as in if I get my raise on my paycheck today and for how much.
When I recently found out someone I work with who has been there 2 yrs. less than me is making the same as I am, I was like I hope they raise me $1 instead of only .50 cents. But who knows. My job is not Fair in a lot of things.

I am glad that you have filed the paperwork against your current job. Your boss deserves to be fined for all the pain and suffereing he has put you through. I hope you do get another job soon so you can get away from the place that caused your health problems. Did you mention up front in the interview about your health issues and how you are not available to work Friday's?

Well since I started this discussion there have been a lot of Good things come from this. I now have Fridays off so that I can go to the Wound Healing Center and not have to worry about using all of my Vacation time up. Things are a lot better in other ways as well. Just waiting to see when and if I will ever get a raise, even though I have made a complaint about this as well, and see if it will ever match up to what most people will be getting when they have been there for 5 yrs.

Well as you know by other discussions that I have started, I am still at the Cab company, and that is ok. Since making the complaints there have been a lot of changes and things that are a lot better. Still some issues with my raise, etc. but I know it sometimes takes time. As for my job situation I know once my leg is healed if I am truly supposed to move on somewhere else, than God will open up the doors again.

Oh hooray Tina I am happy for you. Yes I am so very glad that your job will be fought and that even if you are not there they will get what is coming to them. This was never right for them to do all of this to you and now it will prevent them from doing this to others.
I am happy to hear about the interview and do hope you get the job, as it has to be way better then where you are at. Where there is darkness sometimes for some there is always some light.
Prayers will hold strong and hope you get more good news to come.

Well as you know my friend, I did not get this other job, but that is OK. Personally I feel that with making the complaints that I did things have really improved with the job I am at, and this is making a difference. I know that I still have a little ways left to go before this wound is completely healed, and that is OK. For know I just hang on and hope for the eventual raise, but continuing to believe and know God is in control.

I certainly hope that your job interview today went well. I know from everything that you've shared about the job that you currently have that you certainly do need to have a job that will be better for you, both physically and mentally. As far as the job that you have right now, I hope that when the case that you've filed against them comes up in court that you will win and there will never again be another person that will have to deal with the crap that you've put up with.
