What is your ultimate goal in life? I know all of us here have their own ultimate goal in life. When I was still small, I just had a simple goal and that is to have some friends and play with them and to have some toys. When I started to go to school, my goal was to finish my studies all the way. I also wanted to make my parents happy and proud by doing my best at school. I studied hard and with GOD's help, I was able to finish it. The experience was really priceless. When I finished my studies, my next goal was to get a job. It was a great privilege to be able to work with different companies. Then, after having a job, my next goal was to save money and to put up even a small business, then I will buy a house for my parents. This goal is still in the process and I put everything to GOD, hopefully I will be able to achieve it. With all those things as mentioned above, my ultimate goal in life was to do the will of GOD. How about you guys, what is your ultimate goal in life. Have you ever achieved it already? What are those things that keep you motivated to achieve that goal?

In my childhood, i dreamt of becoming a sports person, but my father who is not sports enthusiastic, didn't support me. I used to be the class topper , so my father wanted to see me as a highly educated person. I fulfilled his desire and now I pursued my post graduation from one of the top universities of the world. With out the support of the lord Almighty I couldn't have achieved this. Other people who motivated me are my mother and girl friend.

Each of the phases that we go through in life allows us to progress and grow as persons. If we look back we realize that our goals change. Sometimes we modify them especially when we cannot accomplish them. It gives me a thrill when I see that I reached my goals and feel sadness when I do not. I have to be realistic with accepting that I cannot achieve all of my goals.

This is just what I am looking for! Great discussion! I do have the same goals as you and I am thinking deeply on how would i achieve those goals. How would I be motivated or stay focused. These days, i have got so many problems that stresses me out and it cause me to be lost and unfocused. I don't want to have shattered dreams. I always pray to God that he may help me and guide me on achieving my goals. Anyway, my ultimate goal is to have a stable job and good financial status. I dream to have a car and a house and lot. I dream to have my own business and good savings. All of these are pretty hard to achieve but with God's grace I know I can make it.

To be able to have security in life is actually my goal in life. I really wanted to be secured when it comes to my finances. I have to have a stable job in order for me to finance and to save for my future. As we grow old, savings is our primary aim because we are already thinking of retiring and I can only do that by becoming regular employee first in either government or in the private sector. I am praying that the Lord will grant me this primary goal of mine...

For me, these are my goals. 1. Earn more money with my job now and get promoted. 2. Continue my work as a freelancer in writing. 3. Start to have own ebook by the age of 40 and do mutiple online projects and hiring writers. 4. At the age of 50, retire if possible and focus on writing completely. 5. Of course, go traveling. I believe I am half way through. The only part is that I have so much thing and plans where I felt I do not have enough time for all!

I have hopes to reach goals, but I do not know if I'll reach them until I have done it. I do not take life for granted. All I know is I can dream, I can plan and I can set up goals. Life is unpredictable so I live in the present.

Sorry to say that. Maybe other people will say the same as me but I need financial stability and this is my main goal. I need pay my bills on time and have something in the fridge to eat. The rest can wait. Without financial stability my stress level is beyond the normal level of stress. I can sleep and I worry all the time.

I don't really have any grand goals like put up a company, be extremely wealthy or whatever of that sort. When I crossed upon your topic, I never thought too much of the answer, coz I believe I've been working out for my goal long before that I already know what I wanted. My Ultimate goal in life? I want to die happy. and to die full of love, filled by people I truly cherish as much as I filled their hearts with mine. I don't want to die full of regrets of the things I should have done and the things I shouldn't. And to just fade away smiling, because I have lived my life the way I wanted it to be. It's a lifelong work of achieving that. So I've already started long ago making my way through that ultimate goal. And I'm telling you, it is, indeed, not what I get that gives the fulfillment, but it's the lives that I create by what I give that matters most.
