if a friend of mine cheats on me then I will forgive that person but never the trust. I will keep off myself to that friend/ try to avoid her. I can't afford to be cheated again.

sometimes you should be allert when your friends ask you such kinds of questions ,they may acturaly do something wrong.
when my friends betrayed me,we seperated from each other for a long time .cause we need calm down.after that, we beacome friends again ,but not good as uaual.

If the person is clearly a 'cheat' he or she can not be considered as my friend from that instance! I will not forgive people who betray by back biting or cheating. Be it a very minor or major issue, I will not forgive them! They do not deserve to be called as 'friends'.

Tough question though but I think I can, depending on the severity of the problem..LOL.. Maybe I can forgive her but it will really take time to do so. And the relationship between you and your friend would really change a lot. The level of trust will change.
