problem in relative paths

hi mylotters.i m finding some problem in my html page that i have created.the problem is explained as follows: there is a folder named A.folder A has got one html page named main_page and another folder named B.folder B has got an html page named abc that contains the link to main_page html file in folder A.the problem is that when i open the html page abc and click on the link to main_page...it does not open the main_page.its saying file not found. now probably the error is due to specifying relative path in hyperlink that directs back to main_page. according to me the error could be resolved by specifying the absolute path....but i dont know how to specify the absolute paths also i want that this html page should work in another computer also. please guide me through this problem if u can. heartful thanks to everyone and wish you a happy day ahead
