If you can write articles, blog posts, emails etc and have good english skills you can make as much $ as you want to put in time at ODesk. I have not been over here for a little while because I have been so busy working for 2 clients over at Odesk. These 2 jobs will pay me a little over $165.00 when completed. Some jobs take a few hours, others are more extensive. I am finding if you do a good job then you get hired over and over by the same people. One of my jobs I did not seek out, the employer saw my resume on the site and contacted me. If you have any of the skills used at Odesk and you are serious about making extra $, then you have to give ODesk a shot.

I already have an account with odesk and I have friends who earn a lot from this site that's why I also registered with this site. However, it is really hard to look for a job here but Im not loosing hope. If I would get a good job here i would definitely quit my job and just focus here so that i could also take care of my child. This Odesk site is also great for at home Mother who wanted to earn online.

That's great that you can earn so much in Odesk. I have signed up an Odesk account since I had to finish a task at that time. But I still have no idea how to earn from Odesk. Perhaps I haven't found out the best way to earn from it. I love China

I haven't tried any freelance sites like oDesk and Freelancer yet. I just don't like uploading my resume, applying for a job and having the interview with potential employers. I'd like to hide my identity and just be known by my pseudo name from earnings sites. I know some people though who earns from oDesk. I have a workmate who does some jobs from time to time. I believe he mentioned that his hourly rate for his expertise is at $2-4. He said his hourly rate can go up once he has built his reputation over time.

Actually, I have tried working at oDesk once but it's so hard to get a client especially if you're new. As I am still a student, I don't have any credentials yet maybe that's why they won't hire me. :P Anyway, I still got MyLot and other online gigs so, yeah, I'm fine with that. I'll try oDesk again, someday. :D
