New Internet vocabulary.

The Internet has introduced many new words into our vocabulary. Most are technical terms, but many are somewhat unpleasant, derogatory terms. Here is one of the most hated terms ever found on mylot! How would you feel if somebody called you a cafemom?

Are you serious? You don't know what cafemom is? I really don't know much, but I think it is a site where moms sign up for support,help, and tips..Shoot, I do that here on mylot and GET PAID FOR IT why would I sign up for cafemom?????

Okay, that glare isn't good enough, but I would not be happy..I have hated that site since my sister "promoted it" because anything she likes, I would hate.. so when I started seeing it here, my gut would tighten with distaste for the site.

And what does that mean? cafemom? This word is splashed in mylot page and I have no clue how it benefits mylotters.

That is what we are all asking! I can't see any benefits and I still don't know what is a cafemom. A mom who spends all her time in a cafe? Doesn't sound like a very good mom.

hi petersum did you see my discussion awhile back where I wanted to take an Axe to her? So if someone called me a cafemom they had best start running as I hate,hate,hate that Cafemom thingy and would love to smash it with my trusty little axe. lol lol

Yes I saw your discussion and I know your feelings. I feel exactly the same but I don't have an axe handy. Got some big kitchen knives though!

Well I agree that the internet created new words, but that is something that every generation has done anyway. Cafemom? Thats a website. I am not bothered by any new slang that gets created, it's the language of the new generation. Thats fine with me.
