Fleas and dogs go together so it is nothing to be surprised or worried about.
We buy anti-flea liquid from the vet and put a small amount on the back of the neck where the dog can't lick it and when it is bad weather for fleas we also put on her flea collar which has an anti-flea chemical embedded in it.
Regular grooming helps get rid of the flea eggs.
Happy scratching!

Thanks for the response smacksman.I just called the vet and they recommended k9 advantage for the back of his neck and also recommended a spray called knockout for the house.I was wanting to get the pill for him but he had to be at least 5 lbs and he is only 2.7 lbs so they said the liquid was my best bet.

Our vet gave us this liquid drops that is around 5 or 10 ml only. We put drop the liquids on my dog's back. I forgot the name but it is very effective. It will last for about 3 months and there's no fleas. It is a bit expensive though. But I already tried the powder, soap and shampoo for fleas but this is the only one that works.

I have always used Frontline Plus for my dogs and have never had a flea problem. I get it from my vet, monthly.
