Work at home is the best work in the world. You can choose where you want to work and when you want to work as long as the work is done. There are no deadlines or target to be reach. Often, I tend to think work at home is not so good but after working in an office for a certain period 6 years I feel that I need to release myself from a prison and get free working on something which gives me more freedom and appreciation. To get to know what life is all about too when making new friends on the internet like in mylot. I get to know so many people from around the world and each opinion of his own. I know that world is not so small now.

There are usually deadlines or targets for freelance (online) jobs. But at least you could choose what time and where you want to work. Are you quitting your job soon?

Seems like there is no future for me in office job. I am not quitting until I am old enough. At that time, I already old and no energy to work. Maybe then I will quit and work at home completely. Meanwhile, I will work part time in office and part time at home.

I do believe work at home is good for us especially to come out of that 9 to 5 prison. But the sad thing is still there are not much program that pays a good amount for online work at home. We can bit on freelance jobs on different websites but it is very competitive as well. On the other hand the online earning websites like mturk.com, microworkers.com and cloudcrowds.com etc pays very small amount and the available volume of work is too small to the demand. We need to wait for a real successful online working program. God knows when the day will come.

I agree with you that working at home offers you the most flexible hours. Actually I am doing it as side job but I'm happy to say that I am earning happily from it more than my day job. I am still on the observation phase since I decided that as long as I can juggle all of my schedules then I won't let go of my present day job since I work for the government so I am in a stable job with benefits.

I see. I don't mind working at home with no colleagues but the money is too slow for me. I am thinking of doing some part time jobs outside my home like giving flyers at shopping mall or promote product at shopping mall. It would at least give me hundreds of dollars.

I would like share some of my experiences with you.Working at home is actually the best in sense of being your own boss and hassle free as you can work at your comfort and take your own time.where as working for somebody or agency in real time involves punctuality, deadline to complete or finish the work in time. How evr the earning online is very meagre and sometimes you get scheated, specially if you happen to be scammed by some sites which are fake and not legit. But social netwroking and earning at the same time with fun is Mylot. So happy Mylotting 2 you.

Dear jsjose_myl
I am indeed looking forward to work at home. I am doing mylot and one site but now the site I am getting bored. I just focus on mylot. I am not successful as I only make about $10 a month.

There hasn't already been anything not mentioned in this topic in regards to how difficult it is to find a work at home job that pays well. I know there are people who are successful at it, but it seems that most work at home opportunities are scams. I personally love working for sites like Mturk, Microworkers, Weegy, etc. Even though I don't make enough money to fully support myself, the extra money comes in handy when it comes to putting them on bills or helping out the family. One of the best things I love about these sites is that I don't have to drive anywhere to do them. I also can do the jobs at my own pace and whenever I feel like it. You have created a nice topic here. Best wishes.

working at home can be great and very rewarding but it depends on what you are going to do as to whether or not you can make a good wage out of it.. what do you plan to do?

I love to work at home too although it's not said there is no deadline.
Only problem I had was that I took nearly no break at all. So I work much longer at home as I do in the office.
I never believed that because you are working in an office you meet more people. This all depends on the kind of job you have and how big your office is. I worked for year in an office with only 1 other person.
I would love to work at home again. No long travels to the office (and lots of the traffic), no stress if you will be in time at the office or school to pick up kids. It's already proved those who work at home do work harder as the ones who are working at the office. So I wonder why it hardly happens over here (Netherlands)

Yes sometimes in office, you only meet 1 or no one at all unless your boss. How come they said you can socialize. I don't understand this perception sometimes.
