Ever been to Taos, New Mexico?

I would love to hear your experience of visiting Taos or any other town in New Mexico. Taos and Santa Fe are especially magical, in my opinion. What do you think?

I haven't yet been to New Mexico as yet. I have in the States only visited California and Hawaii. I have been to Mexico the actual country twice. I visited the ruins at Tulum on my way to and from Belize.
