What are you doing to save money on gas expense?

The obvious ways to save on gas expense: - Drive slower - Don't carry as much weight - Plan your trip better to avoid multiple stops or backtracking - Carpool when you can - Stay home (this one is really no fun) Someone suggested to use Acetone (nail polish remover) in your gas tank. Do you believe this?

I've never heard of that before and I don't think I would be up for trying it. Another thing that helps save gas is don't slam on the brakes, slowly ease into stops.

I know it sounds crazy about putting that into your gas tank. I saw a news report about it. Might be worth investigating further.

Wow that really surprises me but I would be worried it would make the car even more flamable and if the gas tank or something around it got too hot couldn't that be deadly?
