Female president in 2012: is it time, or past time?

Hello mylotter's. I have a question; how many of you believe the time is right to elect a female President of the United States in 2012? Can a lady Prez make the tough calls? I believe this issue will dominate the upcoming presidential election and is worth thinking about now instead of waiting to be told what to think by the media.
