What does managing referrals mean?

I have saw a few post about this and Im wondering what exactly does it mean? I recently rented 15 referrals and would like to know more about this.

That doesnt help sorry. There was talk of managing referrals with a spreadsheet.

Hi Cindy, I'm actually doing that. I used MS excel or spreadsheet to monitor and manage my referrals. It includes their names of course, the date when they are active or not and my previous and current earnings from them. Is it what you ask for or not?

Oh, so its just to calculate earnings from each referral?
