I have heard this news also, and I never expected this move. I know that he was released from United and he made some Youtube videos about fitness trainings to show that he is back on his earlier form which he had until 2005 when he got that nasty injury during his time at Bayern Munchen. He is a player who has won the Champions League with Bayern in 2001 and therefore he has my respect. I know that this is not a move that fans would appreciate, in fact I don't like this rivalry transfers neither, but I have to keep in mind what he has done for Bayern. If he will sign for City, he will play against Bayern this year in the Champions League.

I really do not understand who benefits from this transfer. First of all moving across the aisle to a derby opponent is a dangerous thing to do as Sol Campbell and Rio Ferdinand will testify. Secondly given the injury woes for Hargreaves, I think it is really a dangerous buy for City. Especially when they have so many good players in the midfield. So I am not sure this is a great buy from City!!
Cheers!
