For me, growing up watching Mary Poppins and The Sound Of Music is an inspiration. It shows good use of imagination including great songs sung by great voices. When I grow older, I wish some young ones to see the beauty of these two films. Any classic movie in mind that is worth knowing and watching? :)

I have seen the movie The Sound of Music. Such a beautiful movie. I really loved it. In fact. I have been to the place in Austria where this movie was made, very beautiful scenic region. One other movie that keeps popping up in my mind is Gone with the Wind. Another classic one can watch over and over again.

I remember rafiholmes mentioning about it. Gone with the wind? May I know the story? Must be a really good movie.

If you are talking about classics for children to watch then those two are two of the best. But I would also say add to that Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, The Wizard of Oz and also Annie. But I would also say that everyone at some point in their life should watch “Gone With the Wind” as it is one of the most stunning and powerful movies ever made.

Wow! I am really curious about that movie "Gone with the Wind". What about bedknobs and broomsticks? I am not familiar with it. Annie and the Wizard of Oz are a must recommend too. :)

I both love The Sound of Music and Mary Poppins. They are very light and very entertaining. As for other classic movies that I can think of, I also like The Phantom of the Opera, Chariots of Fire, and Cats. Have you seen them already?

Audrey - Audrey Hepburn
I fell inlove with Audrey Hepburn in the movie Breakfast at Tifanny's. The plot was that Audrey Hepburn was this social climber who gets through parties as a sexy, sophisticated individual. Then there is this neighbor who was curious of her lifestyle. I guess they fell in love. Something like that. Audrey Hepburn is the queen of romantic comedy.
