Okay so the funniest but cutest thing ever. My boyfriends little cousins came up from New Jersey to visit family and his 11 year old little girl cousin was asking her mom where her capes were. I was like okay what the heck is she talking about? Then she started saying I need them I got my super power mom hurry. Okay??? Now I am interested. So I waited a minute then I asked the 11 year old little girl what she was talking about. Here she was talking about her monthly visitor (menstrual cycle). When she got her period her mom explained it as the women's super powers. They are super powers because it allows us to become cranky every time of the month. Capes are pads and wands are tampons. I though this was cute! When you daughter becomes of that age how do you explain what is going with the change of her body?

Haha! I don't have a daughter, but if I had, and I had to explain this, I think I would have said the same thing. But for me, it wouldn't be because I wanted it to be cute, but it's just because I wouldn't really know how to.
That or I would just cried for help to my female friends.

I thought it was very cute. I mean she knows the real meaning as well to why she gets her period but this is a cute way of explaining it with other men in the house.

I expected it to be the girl did not report the age of puberty
Better that you love your daughters and leave them as they tell you
what is going on with them ............
Thank you for the topic of values

She knows the real reason as of what is happening to her but this is how her and her mother explain it when the men are around. So they do not feel uncomfortable.
