It is entirely up to you whether you believe in a God or not.
I can only say that you MAY reach a point in your life when any other explanation for things is untenable. Until then, you will believe what you believe and I shall believe what I believe. I cannot (and have no right to) tell you that you should believe what I believe.
I can only hope that (since I also once saw things from the place you describe and have, I feel, learned better) you will also find out that there is a God ... and also that He/She/It is not very much like what most religions describe.

What is science? Science is observing the natural world, and describing it.
Science doesn't actually 'explain' how or why we exist, or how anything was created.
Take gravity. We know gravity exists. That doesn't mean we know why it exists.
I do not find that Science is opposed to God. If anything science is us learning how God's universe works.
I personally love science. I read about science constantly, just for fun. However, science has never contradicted what I understand of God. If you think about it, science can't disprove God, because God inherently would be external to this material world. Science can only touch on the material world. Thus science can't explain or talk about God, let alone somehow disprove it.

hello,
We must first remember that we should always respect those scientist and those christian(me)because both of them has a point of view in all happenings in our life. We are free to choose what we wanted because it is our own choice. That's all I can say. It is depends on you if you gonna believe it or not. I cannot tell you to praise god if in your heart you dont really want to be the part of him. alright?

I respect your belief. Personally though, if you will ask me, I do believe in God. Although science can explain some of the phenomena that occur in the universe, still there are other things that they can't explain. For me, our existence and the existence of the universe is brought by a powerful being. This powerful Being is non other then God Himself.
But then again, each of us has our own beliefs. And we should not allow no one to disrespect us because of our beliefs.

I guess everybody has to believe in something and since non believing is also a belief, we owe it to ourselves to look for something to hold on to for our lives to have a meaning in itself.
I don't blame you for your "belief" in not believing in a God and for holding on to science for the meaning of life, in fact I respect that about you. I always have great respect for men who knows what they want and what they want to believe in life.
I don't believe in religion as well but what I hold on to is a God that's always there to protect me and my family from all harm, to talk to when I don't have anybody with me and to help me in all the hardships in life. That's what I want to believe in, a God that could not be seen but is always there for you through thick or thin, even when everybody has turned their backs on you.

Yes, I believe in the Loving, Orderly and Faithful Almighty God of creation. And believing in the God of creation is similar to turning to manufacturer of a vehicle for counsel because you know no one would know vehicle better than its manufacturer.
I believe in the Lord God Almighty. Lord, help Thou me!

I believe in both. I believe that God was created through science and it is obviously way above anything I will ever be able to fully comprehend. I'm not sure why I believe in God, just a feeling, I guess. I have no idea if I am right or wrong, but I don't feel that it hurts anybody to believe in God. Organized religion, on the other hand, does bother me. I don't like the fact that people fight in God's name.

I don't believe in God at all. I'm am more a science believer. Mostly because science can explain everything over the years as to when it comes to religion basicly you are listening to stories that have been told for many years and some of them just dont add up.
I think you should believe in what you think is right. I never try to make someone disbelieve their religion but the truth is religion just doesnt make sense to me at all.
Why would there be so many different types of Gods for the same kind of humans, the only change is their language. The story of each religion is also diferent and doesnt add up also.
This is what i think about this kind of matter.

Personally, I do not believe in God - but God itself is many things to other people. I certainly believe in SOMETHING, but not the typical flowing beard I AM GOD kind of god. The universe is a strange and mysterious place with alot we dont understand.
I do not see why science and religion cant be combined, perhaps "god" created the big bang, or indeed was the very reaction that started this universe.
Sadly I do not believe in god because of religion. All it takes is some good morals but then twists them horribly and causes all the horribly religious wars. Believe in what you want, religion definatly seems like an excuse to explain the unexplainable but find a nice balance.
If there is a god, he is not the "nice" one, he is simply a creator and destroyer all in one. Id like to think there may be something and we are not a random collection of atoms, but not that my life is preplanned. It would be nice to think there would be an afterlife but I think that is just a nice dream so we can sleep a bit better and not worry about not existing.
What spoils God is religion. Besides all differnt religions seem to have a different view, and alot of older gods were explainations for thunder etc, so all in all god seems a nice fairy story to manipulate/control people to do "good" things - or else! Or an excuse to why they do the bad.
Shame really.
