Hi, I am wondering if any of you have to do any repairs to your Mercedes Benz. I know they are reliable cars built with German engineering, but they still have moving parts that wear out, and need maintenance. That is what I want to know is about the problems you have with your Mercedes.

I am using the 1995 Mercedes Benz C200 automatic transmission. I need to replace the kickdown cable and the right mirror shells. I'm still saving for it. Furthermore, I also plan to repaint.

We had a Mercedes, but it just had so many little problems we finally had to let it go. Only paid $500 for it, and I loved it, but hubby did not have the tools or place to work on it. Are Mercedes one of your specialties?

I don't have a Mercedes but from what I've heard from my dad - who is an automechanic - is that they're not great cars. He'd rather suggest a Lexus than a Mercedes. Of course all cars need repairs - there's no such thing as a "maintenance-free" car. I've heard the (replacement) parts are very very expensive. I would settle for something a little more economical and known for being long-lasting (like a Toyota Camry!).
