Hi emjay!
I always wanted to go to Camiguin too, its just I don't have time for it. My husband's family is from Cagayan de Oro City which is already near to Camiguin but its been years since the last time we visited them, so I hope by next year we are able to visit his place and finally go to Camiguin. I have heard a lot of great things about Camiguin and I want to see it myself, and also as much as possible I want to visit the place during their lanzones festival.
Another place that I want to visit is Vigan, Ilocos Norte.
There's a lot of beautiful places here in our country that I want to visit, but I need time and money to do so! hehe

Yes, traveling even in our own country really takes some cut on the budget. My brother also want to visit Vigan. It really is a classic place to go to where one can indulge in an old-era environment. I don't know how true though. I have never been there. :c

I also want to go back at Camiguin. I miss the beach there and their lanzones.
The place that I'm craving to go back is Iligan City. I miss the falls, the people, the mountain climbing adventure and the swimming adventure. It's a nice place.

Wow, Iligan! We are bound to Iligan early next year mainly for falls hopping. Your comment made me more excited! We are also considering a side trip to Marawi . As of this writing, it's part of our itinerary .

My brother and his wife will be going there by tomorrow morning of Saturday. I don't have any idea about that place but maybe I would just have to search on it. For sure this is another wonderful island that I must discover as a Filipino.

Wow that's great. And lucky you, you're going back for the 2nd time! We've been there early this year and it's a beautiful place. I loved the hot springs and especially White Island. Simply serene especially if you are there early in the morning and there are no other visitors yet .
I'd love to go back to Boracay. Been there last year, have booked again for Oct. this year and will push through if schedule still permits. I'd also like to go to Batanes. I'm targeting next year! Others in my list are Palawan, Cebu, Iloilo and Guimaras and practically the whole of Philippines! So many places to go, so little money .

Thanks! I would especially love to visit the White Island again. It's a very good thing, you got to be there early this year. I hope when my family would visit Camiguin, it will be around the same time as the Lanzones festival.
Boracay boasts of long stretch of beach. IN Cebu, we highly recommend Malapascua Island and Bantayan Island. OUr pieace of Boracay in the South.
So many places to go, so little money (I second the motion). hehe..

Oh where is Camiguin exactly? I don't know that there are hot springs in the Philippines...oh I am so ignorant. :P(Any photos to show?)I went to Manila last year and met up with a good friend there. I hope to go back there. Another place in the Philippines that I would love to go is Cebu. I have heard that it's a very nice place.

Yes, there is a hot spring in the Philippines. In Camiguin..and I heard it really is great there. :) I'm sorry I don't have any photos there. I somehow misplaced the pictures taken way back when we went there last 2001.
Talking about Cebu? It is the Queen City of the South boasting of food, culture and pride of the Visayas. And the beaches in Cebu are really appreciated even by people from Manila. They would love to go swimming here and there are some dive spots also in Cebu.

Thanks for the information on Cebu.:) Since you are planning to visit Camiguin again, I am just wondering if you could upload photos of the place after you return from the trip?

emjay86,
I was brought to Camiguin by a business client on one of my trips to Cebu, Philippines 2 years ago and I have to say that I fell in love with the white sandy beaches of Mantigue Island and Guinsiliban Cove. Not forgetting the memorable diving at Jidcup.
I think the most memorable sight has to be the Sunken Cemetery Marker at Bonbon. It is very memorable and indescribable site for me when I visited the place. Equally picturesque are the waterfalls there, so don't miss it.
As for the hot spring, I am probably spoiled by my travels to the hot springs in Japan especially in Sapporo during the winter which is not only luxurious but sceneric as well. But, I would still give credit to the Ardent Resort's quality accommodation and service.

emjay86,
I understand that if you do not visit Mantigue Island and Guinsiliban Cove then you've not really been to Camiguin. So do check them out and include them in your itinerary.
I can assure you that the hot springs in Japan during the winter season is really awesome. (See photo)
Happy holidays.

Wow! I never knew about the two places you've mentioned. The Sunken Cemetery , that I am familiar with. But not the other two before it. I will try to look up on it. Thank you.
I envy you. I crave to go to Japan and I hear their hot springs are really good for the health. The place, even better. I am just imagining winter, how it feels like to be in a weather like that. So good.
Hope you well skysuccess. :)

That is good to hear. I have never been to Palawan but my family is also craving to go there. I would personally want to see the Underground River and maybe get to swim there if allowed? hehe..Bohol indeed is a really nice place. If you get to go there, I am not promoting, but do also visit the Bohol Bee Farm. I went there once and I got to eat fresh flowers and vegetables because they have their own farm. And yes! Fresh flowers. :)

Hello emjay! I haven't been to Camiguin. but the sound of hot spring makes me excited to see it...
How was your visit in Camiguin, my friend? What do you like most in there?
I visited few places in the Philippines. What I love about Baguio is the strawberries and the flower farm. Though i haven't been to flower farm. There's so much to experience in Baguio that I haven't experienced. Well, there are also other places I like to visit here in our own country. I just hope I can visit other places in the future...

Sagada sure is a wonderful place to visit. I like the falls, though I haven't been there. It's like being in a peaceful world when you are in such place.
Have you been to Sagada?
Here are some photos I have searched:

Seeing these photos really feels good. It's like you can't imagine it's in the Philippines. Well, I do live in the city and I haven't been to much provinces. It really amazed me to see pictures of places which I never thought is existing.

I am still planning to go there. The first time I went there was ten years ago..too long ago. It was memorable. A must-visit place in the Philippines. I have been to Baguio too and the strawberries are really a joy to eat. We even brought some with us home. Apparently, many got spoiled. :(
I also hope I would get to visit Sagada. Historic philippines.

I love, love, love Camiguin. My friends and I were there March of this year and I'd love to go back sometime in the future. I also loved Bukidnon. If I'd invest in real estate, I'd consider bukidnon. I'd also like to go back to Palawan. Such a charming place. Wonderful people, too! Oh, and I'd really, really like to go to Batanes. There's a travel expo at MOA tomorrow, and since I can't go personally, I asked friends to book me for a trip there next year!

WOW! The Philippines really has so much to offer. Bukidnon is indeed really nicer. My sister is dying to go to Dahilayan and enjoy the rides there. And Batanes? I heard it is the most honest place in the country. They don't need vendors, they value honesty. I don't know how true though.
