September Goals?

So, it's another new month, and I'm just setting my goals for the month, bearing in mind the things I'd like to achieve this year, and the things I have to tick off my Day Zero Project list.
Online:
1. To reach 500 posts here on mylot (this is an unachieved goal carried on from last month
2. To post one article per week to the student blog I write for.
3. To write at least twenty blog posts for the blog I've decided to start. I plan to pay for hosting when I'm better off financially, so I figure having the articles ready would be helpful.
Social & Health
1. To plan an exciting date for our anniversary in November
2. To do the deep-breathing exercises I'm supposed to be doing since I cracked my rib Don't ask
3. To go to the gym (but taking it very easy because of my rib)
4. To stick to the diet and aim to get under 11stone before going back to uni on the 15th.
Money & Uni
1. To open, and put money into, a joint savings account
2. To hand out my CV in desperate search for a job
3. To keep on top of uni work so there's no frantic "**** I have an essay due in tomorrow" and so I can feel confident for the exams, instead of cramming
4. To keep looking at postgrad courses, and pray I find one that jumps out at me (ideally without being hundreds of miles from my partner)
5. To budget for the Month of September, and to stick to it.
That's all I can think of at the moment, how about you? Do you set goals for the month? What are you hoping to achieve?

I never make any plans, instead, i have lots of dream, i hope stock market can be better, hope i can earn more extra money, hope i can buy a few beautiful dressing. Maybe i should settle down to think about how i can achieve my goals. It is good to make a plan, but i am alway lazy to fulfill it.

It doesn't usually take long to think about.
For me, I think about wanting to earn money, and that leads to a mylot goal.
I think about wanting to have a good career, so that leads to a goal of getting good grades at uni, and looking up postgrad courses.
Etc etc. It doesn't take very long, and setting a goal makes me focus on it - I know if I do what I'm supposed to, I'll get the things I want (or at least progress towards it). Then even if my dreams don't happen, I'll have still had a good month.

my main goal for september is to make a lot of friends here in my lot and answer lots of questions from my dear lotters. i also plan to use social networks like facebook and others to extend my reach and maybe have some refferals. from my experience they can only be good for me.

I feel more motivated if I know I've mentioned them to someone - sort of like I have to make sure to succeed because I don't want to come back at the end of the month and say "oh yeah, I didn't actually finish anything!"
I need to earn extra money too, but I haven't really figured out how yet!

I do set my goals of course. Im not sure how many people do this but i find it easier to have a goal or plan in life on what you need to do and what you need to get.
My goals this month are to make the payout here on this site so i can use the money in my paypal account next month to get a christmas present offline for my boyfriend as that will help me out and im not dishing out money of course out of my pocket but through my paypal account.
I also am trying to pay off my car as this is the last month for that and also my car insurance is due and that is my goal to pay for all of that this month and to be finacially better off in october to pay for other things that havent been paid for in a while and get things going on with my life that i have been put on hold.
I have alot to achieve this month but if i work alot and stay focused i believe my goals will come true at the end of the month. I hope i have enough money in my mylot account to make the payout at the end of septemeber.
Goodluck with your goals and i hope you achieve some of them.

I'd like to reach payout here too, I've not done it yet and I'm determined to FINALLY do it this month!
My car insurance is due next month, but I think to be honest I'll just have to declare it off road and leave it at home, because I don't have the money for the insurance, tax etc that's all coming up. I don't really need it at uni anyways.
Good luck with your goals too, thanks very much :)

hello,
One more piece do not get discourage if you do make all your goals. That is why we have is to eventually reach them.
It is a very encouraging list and a lot on there.
Mine would try to 10 post a day at my lot... not sure if I can do that every day.
Also keep up earning reward points at Swagbucks
Also do Sidetick answer blog
and Keep up with Matesgate in blogging and voting on pictures.
Get back to doing Zazzle website. I took a few months off with Christmas getting closer and closer I need to put more stuff up.
Now at home I determine to fix front porch where the squirrels ate through sofet and
repaint the ceiling of the porch.
Finishing taking down a medium size tree in back yard.
Paint my bedroom and finish the bathroom too.
If I can get all this done by then end of September I will be a very happy lady.
Thanks for the ideas and helping me reach my goals.
Sincerely Unique16

Thank you :)
That's why I try to use monthly goals, because then I'm very focused on them for the short term, rather than forgetting about them over the year. Plus, sometimes what you want changes, and new years resolutions aren't really flexible enough to cope with that.
