How to help Somalia

Do you heard news about Somalia. The people are starving food. The children are effected with malnutrtion. The parents are compelled to leave their parents and children. Recently I saw picture that a vulture is eating a man . Please tell me what can we do as a human being. I can only pray to God.

Yes, I have been seeing the people in Somalia suffering. Really very pathetic. I have made donations to help the people there. I make the donations to international charity organizations which are helping the people there on ground. That is an excellent way to help the people, making donations to charity organizations.

The Indian government can start a fund where all those with a compassionate heart may donate money to help the starving people of Somalia.We waste money on several things whereas so many there are not getting to eat.This is tragic.I am willing to help with money if there is a way to help by donating.

Yes you are right. In India there are billionaires like Ambani, Vijay Mallya etc have account in Swiss Bank. They don't know how to spend money. If they wish they could solve 10% of problem faced by Somalia. They are competing with each other by buying cars and palaces.What do you think

Yes you are absolutely right.They are leading lives of supreme luxury while others at a corner of the globe are not even getting the basic right to eat.They should be the first ones to donate some money towards this cause and help these people out.They should set an example and then we may follow and donate too.But the government should request all the biggies to donate money freely instead of splurging on lavish lifestyles.Even they donate they will not have a shortage of money since they are billionaires and earn thousands of rupees daily but the suffering and the starving people will get respite from their pain if all of us,as a nation,can extend a helping hand towards the inhabitants of another suffering nation.

The World Food Organization, that belongs to the UN has a site where you can donate rice and help Somalia (among other places where there´s famine) by just playing a game. The site is called freerice.com. Check it. Donating there and helping doesn´t cost you a dime and you can help by just spending a small time each day as I do. If only one person does it, it´s not much. But you can check there of the places they have helped and how. Let´s get together and give 5 minutes of a day to help!
