How do you make money on mylot and how much? What activities other than responding to other people's questions and starting your own discussions help you earn more money on mylot? Would love to know more please help me out. Thanks in advance.

As the previous mylotter told you, participation is the key to earnings on mylot. Not just participating but posting quality posts. I have also earned three rewards from using the mylot search engine. All three were generous and all came as a surprise. I have uploaded a few pictures and plan to upload more. I think that you earn from referrals but I am bad with getting referrals.
Most of my earnings have come from beginning discussions and responding to discussions. You type, you get paid is what I was told when I was new.
I have learned that if you begin a discussion it is very important to comment back to those who responded. I did not know that in the beginning and I believe I may have lost earnings because of that.
FIY, it is ok to discuss earnings in general. Do not ever tell anyone how much you made and do not expect any mylotter to give you a specific amount. That is against the rules.

Oh, I didn't know the last part where I wasn't supposed to ask about how much they made, sorry about that but thanks for letting me know. I appreciate it. Also, thank you for letting me know that we have to respond to the questions that we ask but do we have to respond to every single one? I am bad with getting referrals too but I try.

It is ok to discuss earnings in general as long as it is not specific. Do not ever discuss exactly how much you made or expect another mylotter to do the same. Your discussion or response will be deleted. And if it continues, you could get kicked off my lot.
I am still trying to understand how my lot operates. In order to earn, you have to comment on responses that you get to your discussions. I do not know if you have to respond to every single one. I have not figured that out yet. Maybe another mylotter will respond or comment. However you will find out that mylotters have diverse views. One says one thing and the next something else.

We do have same sentiments. As I read all other comments it makes sense to me how to earn big points. Im a newbie here also and still adjusting.

Welcome to myLot!
Participation is the key. When you do start discussions try and do so of what interests you, so that you have plenty to comment back to your responders with. Though it is not compulsory to comment back to all responses. Do keep in mind that you do not earn for the responses, they typed so they earned. Unless you comment back with quality responses then you are typing/earning.
What I make and another member cannot be compared. None of us participate identically and cannot duplicate participation. Also the DRS - Star also affects our earnings.
You should take a look at the guidelines and FAQ because many question can be answered there. It will also avoid wasted efforts.
