Friendship between opposite gender.!

I think males and females can be friends and nothing more. I think sometimes it ends up being more when we are lacking or needing something in our lives. But sometimes guys can be just friends I believe. Both people need to be on the same page about the friendship.

I don't think that best friends should be in the same gender. In fact, my best friend is a guy. We have been friends for many years already. And we are very close. He is married and have a family of his own. And we always stay in touch with each other.

Hello, I disagree too here. What happens after the breakup? Yes, guy and girl can be best friends. Sometimes it even better than when they hooked up because this way they really know each other and look out for each other. What about high school and middle school... sometimes they stay friends throughout a life time. I a guy freind were item but it did not work out. We are still friends and helps me fix things on the house and he knew when I dating other people it did not bother him. It all depends on how the relationship ends on good terms or bad terms. There is more possibility that friendship between a boy and girl ends in love. Because the care taken by friends highly influences each other and leads to the stage in which both cannot be separated. It will not even be love. They just like to be together. So they will decide, that if they want to stay together they should Love and get married. This is what actually happens.

Yes,I agree on your statement about good friends can only be between same gender..But if being best friends with the opposite gender will only create more problem as the relationship will advance to another stage such as boyfriend n girlfriend..Or it might created jealousy between them when his or her best friends came in close contact with another boy or girl.

There is nothing wrong having friendship with opposite gender. I am not sure if best friend issue always leads to having intimate relationship or falling in love. I know some people who have good relationship a boy- girl friendship that never leads to falling in love or love issues. I think it can be possible. But in most cases it is difficult not to fall in love to the other person. Some people would prefer the friendship over the love affair because if the relationship fails it is difficult to restore the friendship.

It is very possible to have a good friend from opposite gender. I'm saying this because I'm in such kind of friendship and it has been like this from 2004. Actually, we started this friendship when we were at school- one level but in different schools. We had school revisions together, working on school projects and educating each other until we completed high school. Our stories changed from school life to real life from then. Up to now, we are still communicating but we have our own lives, living in different places.
