We had lunch with my office mates and i was so full, I ate two cups of rice, meat, dried fish, fried fish and chicken. I felt so sleepy and decided to sleep. Suddenly i felt heart burn and I feel like waking up but I can't. I was like OH MY GOD help me. I was twisting my hands, mouth and feet but i can't move. Then of my imagination, I woke up then told my office mate what it feels like to have a noonmare. Not knowing that it was also a DREAM! To my surprise my office mate woke me up and asked about financial issues in the office. Thanks to her.
Have you experience this one too?so creepy!
I thought I will just die here in the office.
Thanks for waking me up office mate...Thank GOD for giving me the chance to wake up and do mylotting..So happy!

Thats a very interesting story. No I have never had a noonmare. I don't really dream, at least not for many years, or not that I can remember. It was a good thing that your coworker woke you up. Next time do not eat so much rich foods.

Good for you not to have any nightmare/noonmare. You must not full or everything is digested before you sleep. Yes, i will not sleep after eating so much..

That is really creepy. I also experienced that but it was not a noonmare(hehhehe). But yeah, I totally know what you felt. When you are trying to move yourself but you just cant and then you feel so helpless. I really hate that kind of stuff happening to me. I did not just experienced it once or twice but it has been a lot already. And yes, this morning before i woke up, I did experienced that. Praying really helps I always pray when that happens. I don know if that was a dream or a reality already. Creepy. Hehehe

I wasn't sleeping at my key board...as i was in our sofa, so soft and cool, with all huggable pillows! It's like i'm home and sleeping like a princess.
I wasn't moaning, she asked me about the bill of our news paper issue.

That sounds odd and creepy, a bit scary too. I can't say I have had a noon-mare, but maybe it was just way too much food and perhaps you were to tired to begin with. I remember as a child being told not to eat too heavy prior to sleeping as this somehow causes nightmares. So maybe somehow related and your body clock did not know it was still day time.
I hope it has digested well and all is okay by now.

That's a little creepy indeed. That is not actually a coincidence. Its a bad effect of sleeping right after you eat specially of heavy meals. Good thing your officemate woke you up. Ok now I know you are the nurse so you should know it more than me haha! But, be careful the next time. :)

Haha! I'm sorry for laughing and I'm sorry for your NOONmare. I find you funny friend. How did you manage to sleep at the office? In front of your desk? But you know, I'm thankful that your officemate had something to ask right when you were dreaming. That was a rescue! So, I think the lesson here is don't eat too much and sleep after eating. You made me smile today! ;)

Thanks for sharing your experience. No, I've never gone to sleep on the job. A long time ago when I was young and worked nights for the telephone company, our supervisor would allow us to take long lunches when we were not especially busy. We would go to the lounge and sleep. When it was time for the next batch of girls to take their lunch, she would send someone out to the lounge to wake up the sleepers. Should something happen and the switchboard got busy, she'd also send someone at that time to call the sleepers back to work. Don't think that counts as sleeping on the job, as it was sanctioned.

You've been working too hard maybe. Yes i have experienced that when i was young. I would usually take nap in the living room after lunch and yeah it happened exactly as what you have described and i have had several experiences. And because of the several experiences i have become an expert on waking myself up. Stay calm and pray. The more you struggle to wake up, the more you'll get into deep and couldn't wake up and would have difficulty breathing. So i just pray coz i know it's just a dream and try to stay calm and then slowly wake myself up.
