corruption has now become a common culture for all people .. Now corruption has become the norm .. Not only occurs in one country but also global to the entire country ... How horrible ... why is this culture of corruption is hard to be removed from this world? Why corruption is close to official government? Why corruption is close to power and position as well as money? What do you do if your country has become a heaven for corruptor?

Its really hard to remove corruption since its has been also practicing in different world. This is the dilemma they can't prevent because they also want to be rich and be powerful. Most well known politician are corrupt. And our country is one of them.

So bad that most countries are being lead by corrupt leaders but an ordinary citizen is the one to bear all evil of corruption. I'm sad too say my country is among the top leading in this category, leaving us to suffer in silence with nothing to do. As per now, the country in great need of sugar and maize to feed her people, but the leaders have opted to dig into emergency funds to fill up the gap left after paying their taxes. These people are know to change laws to suit their preferences. Recently, they passed laws that nullified the Head of Anticorruption office, removing the only hopes for ordinary people. We have everything we need to defeat corruption but we lack intelligence to see the plot the politicians play to make people vote them in. If we came together and vote in corrupt free leaders, and fight to eliminate the remnants of this horrible vise, we can win.

It all started when the politicians were above the law, they could do anything but no one to question them. The rate went down to their subordinates, and other people who surround them.. making them immune or untouchable in the society. Now that we have a new constitution, they already felt that pinch and now they are making sure they change everything that can be a threat in their doings as they focus their minds to general election that gonna be held next year. Too bad, people are going to reelect the same corrupt leaders and the cycle will go on and on. Unless my people change their mind and focus on development other than money, we are in for it, another years of great suffering.

Hi adhyz: Unfortunely we all are conscious about this problem that is present in every country. There's not only a reason but for me, when our societies don't do anything to punish corruptors they will continue do this. Even worst, they are being rewarded when people reelect them to their offices after all the scandals and everything. I think we all have a part of responsability on this crisis. ALVARO

Corruption seems to be around everywhere in the world these days and for what we hear about, there is just so much more that we really do not hear about in the world. There are going to be a lot of times where those who are engaging in the corruption only get off with a slight slap on the wrist or a moderate stain on their reputation, unless they get sold down the river by a more corrupt person. And the people are those who get the worst of it. Innocent citizens, who don't really know what is going on but they are the people who are going to get cut off and thrown under the bus, so people can live a great life. So they can learn a life of luxury and a privileged life that without any regards to the people. Its a matter of unraveling and sadly times come where those politicians could get replaced by someone who is even more corrupt. It can be a never ending cycle.

adhyz82, “The superior man will watch over himself when he is alone. He examines his heart that there may be nothing wrong there, and that he may have no cause of dissatisfaction with himself.” Corruption is rampant and as much as the origin is concern, I believe it does start with ourselves - men who cannot control our personal greed. When these people become leaders or people of authority then there will be the likelihood of abuse of power and taking matters including money into their own hands. Bribery has been around since the beginning of time where commoners will use money to gain some advantages for their business or private matters. “The strength of a nation is derived from the integrity of its homes” So, when these leaders or people of authority does not have any self control, the system will then be corrupted and eventually fail - as seen in countries where corruption is so evident and common. “To put the world in order, we must first put the nation in order; to put the nation in order, we must put the family in order; to put the family in order, we must cultivate our personal life; and to cultivate our personal life, we must first set our hearts right.” Ref: Quotes are from the Wisdom of Confucius - Confucius

Corruption is unavoidable because people are always greedy and hungry for more. Corruption is close to offical government and the powerful because nobody dares to question them, nor has the power to do so. It takes great effort to vindicate one of corruption, on top of the easy money. That's why people choose to be corrupted. Given the amount of money earned and spent, it's worth it in exchange for a few years in jail.
