Newbie in myLot

Welcome to MyLot! It is a unique site which doesn't pay any set amount 'per post' but, instead, rewards us according to the quality of our participation in discussions as a whole. The more you participate and the better the quality of your participation as a whole, the better your earnings will be. You can actually earn just as well without starting discussions at all but just by responding and commenting in other people's discussions. The most important thing is QUALITY. What is 'quality'? It is being descriptive, original and relevant; it is the art of giving really good, complete responses to a discussion so that other people will naturally say "Wow! That is a good answer!" and will tend to give you positive ratings. That is what the little '+' sign is for which you can see against every discussion, response and comment ... except your own: you can't rate your own posts, of course! MyLot also have their own very complex algorithm which rates 'quality'. Nobody knows how it does it (and we aren't allowed to speculate) but it has worked very well for five years. You are STRONGLY advised to read the Guidelines: http://www.mylot.com/o/guidelines.aspx so that you understand what is and is not allowed here. Moderation here is good and anything which is against the guidelines will very likely be removed (and you won't earn anything for posts which are removed, naturally). Most of the questions which newcomers ask are answered in the FAQs, so you should always refer there before posting a discussion about it, if you have any doubts or queries. I'm also new to myLot and I I'm starting to discover how great is this site. I think you you must add categories on your interest to have access on many discussions. When it comes on posting your own discussion, posting referral link is prohibited. By the way I know you can have the answer on your question because people here in myLot are very helpful.

Hello Pintuch. Welocome to mylot! I would strongly suggets you to read the guideline, take two to read and understand this so you will the rules of this site.Reading that will warranty you to not make the errors that the newbie do,and can save you to write things against the terms of mylot and see how your iscussions are deleted because violentions of the rules.So it means that taking two hours to read and understand the guideline can help you to loose your money in mylot. So read it please. Besides respect the ortography when you are reading. And never write bad worst because it is againgst the rules. Complete tasks if you want to make some extra cents.And never abandon your discussions if you begin a discussion and get responses, respond to the responses. I know you will do a great job here, I can tell that from the you words and way you write.

Welcome, pintuch ! Since all others before me mentioned the guidelines and all that jazz I see no point in doing so too :P I will though point out a few useful hints. At least for me they were useful :) 1. Mind your reputation because it influences your earnings and your friendships around here. So try to answer politely, don't offend people, cause you probably don't like being offended either. It's all about common sense in the end (which is not so common anymore, unfortunately :P) 2. Don't forget to mark best responses in your discussions. The once you interact with will appreciate your positive review and be encouraged to participate more in your discussions. 3. Posting pictures and commenting them are also a form of participation, but careful of copyright infringements. 4. Casual and simpler subjects will get you more responses, but not as satisfying as interesting, more complex themes. It's all about quality, not quantity ;) 5. Don't forget to enjoy mylot! :P It's not only a place to earn, but also a socializing site where people unwind. Enjoy it and you won't even know when you'll reach payout! :D Happy posting!

So you type more but be sure that your responses are really good. Here in mylot it's not about the quantity but it's on the QUALITY of your respond.
