That is a tough question. I would love to say to leave & get another job.....but times are so hard that I think for now at least just concentrate on the good. Concentrate on what you do like about the job, so that you can stick it out longer, or until you find another. Jobs here are so scarce that I stopped looking for a job closer to my home because I was having no luck. I remind myself that I am luck because I still have a job. Just keep thinking about the positive for now! good luck!

It is so sad to hear from you about your job. Well I believe if you do not like your current post then of course you have to resign this, but there is some other considerations as well. Before you resign you have to confirm other job for your to live you life. It will not be wise to resign the current post without having a new one.

Hi levening,
If I don't like my job, I will resign. I am the person who has no patience if dealing with difficult people such as you mentioned. That's why I stay at home and do easier part time jobs which require less paper work and follow ups. I hope you will find a new job before you resign.

Hi Levening,
I think you are getting burned out, dear one! Working 7 days a week will do that to you. I think you just need a day or two off a week to regroup and rest a bit. In these days there are so many people without jobs, so I would not quit until I had another good job to take its place.. however, I would take a day off now and then.. just call it a 'mental health day'...

Hi. Welcome to mylot. If I were you, I will resign and look for a better job that I am really happy doing. But if you need the experience and can still tolerate you can keep it for a while. But it is still important that you maintain your health by not taking all these pressure or it can really cost you much in the long run if you will get ill due to stress. It is much more important that you are happy with what you do. Try looking for a better one and perhaps you will more than just contented with your new job.

I worked years for job agencies. this worked great for me since I knew I would not do that job forever. But if people give me a hard time I leave no matter what. I did that 3 times. If it's bad for my health I leave. In the end my welcare is more important to me as the job.
It's hard to advice you in this since I don't know how easy it will be for you to find something new.

I've been in your situation before. I was no longer happy with my work. I was previously assigned in a team where the team members are really great. Then I was transferred to a new one where I don't feel that much comfortable. The load of the work is so tiring and there's a drastic change in schedule. Sometimes I will have a split off or rest days during weekend. I know I'm no longer happy. I tried to think about it but I finally decided to resign. I don't have work yet, it is tough looking for a new job but no regrets. I am happy now and I don't want to waste my life to something that will not make me happy.

Yes it is difficult to work at a job where you are under so much stress and regardless if you like the job or not. It can take a great toll on your health in he long haul.
I would not suggest for you to quit right off, as it is not easy to find another job when you are unemployed. Most employers wonder why you are not working and tend to offer positions to those who are currently working. They have to wonder if there was some previous issue when you worked at your last company.
They will not spend any effort in finding out as to the actual reason, sometimes. Best to quietly try and find another job. I do see you like the company, maybe if you can talk to management there is a way to alleviate things. If not then you will have to decide on which is the better route, but bare in mind that quitting means no further earnings, until you find another one.
Best of luck and I do see you are new to myLot, welcome aboard!

It's really hard to execute blue collar job. Everybody has the right for a leave. File a vacation leave. And use that chance to find a job. Do not resign until you find a new job. I don't suggest working online on a full time basis. There are only few people who became successful because of this. But remember, there is no easy job. Being a security guard might be an easy job but risky.
