Australia won against Sri Lanka in the first test match of the series currently going on between them.
And there was one improbable record!
Ricky Ponting, on of the best Batsmen in the history of Cricket became the FIRST and ONLY player to have played in 100 Test match victories!
Most of them can't even play 100 test matches. So involving in 100 Test wins for his country is a remarkable and probably unbeatable record.
Congrats to him!

Congratulations to him. Another legend of the game of cricket. Love his batting whenever he bats. The 100 test matches is just a testimonial to his illustrated career.
Getting involved in 4 world cup finals, winnning 3 of them... being the man of the match in one of the finals...speaks voloume.
Not to forget... He led Australia when they were in such sizzling heights..thats not just another "POST".

Yes,Ponting is a world-class player.He is the one of the greatest Captains.Ponting has united Australia in such a way that no one can beat them at regular intervals.

He has played 153 Tests and out of that Australia has won 100 Tests!
Yes you are right that Australia was a great team and they were number one. It helped him in this but still he led the team as a captain too.
Still this record is very remarkable!

I think this is a record that will stay for a long long time. You are right it takes a major effort to play even hundred tests. Winning 100 test matches is a great achievement. Congrats to Ponting on this feat and it shows how dominant Australian team has been over the past few decades.

Ricky Ponting is one of the class batmen in the world.His every win reflects of his class.Being the first player to taste 100 test victories is one of the most extreme experience.
Ponting has really reached a milestone in World Test cricket.Most of the players in the International cricket doesn't even gets a chance to play 100 tests.Heatiest Congratulations to him.
