So last year, I was overweight then upon enrolling at the gym and with appropriate diet, I was able to lose more or less 44 lbs.
Then I was sidelined for 9 months due to an abdominal injury or probably it was an abdominal hernia. So I decided to come back to the gym, then I was determined to gain some muscles so yesterday my gym instructor showed a sample product of the protein supplements, so I decided to buy one from him. He gave me his contact number, then last night I texted him and finally confirmed my order which was a whey protein powder. So I paid him this morning a total of 3,500 Philippine pesos around 83 dollars at current exchange rate, my order was supposed to be 5lbs. of whey powder.
Then this afternoon, he arrived at the gym with my order and I was surprised that he bought an 8 lb whey protein supplement specifically sei mass ultimate. He said that he opt to buy the 8 lb one since compared to the 5lb whey protein, it was more worth it since the extra 3 lb is just worth 850 pesos. So I thought it was great of him, then upon arriving home... I quickly opened my pc and searched about the item on the web since I want to know how much was it in real price BECAUSE I am definitely aware that he's a reseller therefore he has a commission or some interest on the every sale of the product.
TO MY SHOCK! I was really disgusted... BECAUSE I BOUGHT THE PRODUCT FOR 4,350 PHP or around 103.22 dollars! When the same product is sold by RESELLERS as well online for less than 40 dollars and even the site of the us company, they aren't selling such stuff at that price.
Then upon browsing more sites, I saw a product list of one reseller of supplements where in I realized that my gym instructor was definitely wicked and greedy because the price that he asked me was equivalent to a BETTER BRAND of whey protein.
Perhaps when he was in the store, he realized that since I am newbie in bodybuilding and just a mere 19 year old boy, he thought that I would be very easy to fool. Well yeah his right, but he ain't fooling me again...
It really hurts that some people do this kind of things for the sake of money... I mean you can overpriced a product for the sake of reselling... I understand that because that's business but to sell a product which only costs less than 40 dollars for AN INSANE PRICE OF 103 DOLLARS... that's plain greediness and evilness.
However, I told to myself that I'll try my best to forgive that person and move on and just let GOD do the rest.
The worst part is that the money I spent was my money from my allowance... now I am really disappointed... nevertheless I have learned a very important moral lesson and that's DON'T TRUST ANYONE EASILY and lastly MANY ARE BLINDED BY MONEY!

Are you sure that was the right amount online inclusive of shipping charges? Because you said the instructor gave you 8 lbs for P4,350 right? (just correct me if I am wrong here. Well I think if the amount was let's say $52 dollars for 8 lbs. add the shipping charge also. But it is still a rip off when you said for only 8 lbs. he gave that price to you, tsk, tsk. Well at least you know already that you cannot trust that person already .
The moral lesson of the story, before you buy anything research first. Research about what the product is all about, research by comparing the prices online and most important of all research what brand or product will suit your need. Better be careful next time. I am sure when he will offer you again something you will now say NO!

First of all your gym instructor shouldn't be selling you anything. Any suppliment carries health risks and can be dangerous and in some cases illigal to use. I don't know what the laws are in regards to this in your country, but if someone sold you something like that chances are they'd end up in jail. I'd advise you not to use it. There are more healthy ways to build muscle tone. Simple streaches and healthy exercises you can can do from home will help tremendously. Research online about tips and tricks, and avoid suppliments. Get your protain from food it's much healthier.
