You have learned that tissue culture is the technique used to develop plants with the similar qualities of the parent plant. The greatest advantage of this method is that a large number of plants can be produced from a single plant tissue. Through tissue culture it is possible to produce within a short period of time a large number of replicas of better quality plants developed through hybridization.

I guess that is the answer I'm looking for when buying tissue with no trees been cut down. It is a good technology in saving trees. Hope it will become cheaper and cheaper so that lots of buyers will but the tissue with no trees been cut.

That is the technology. biotechnology. But maybe the quality result is not strong compare with the plant source.

Hello,Yes tissue culture is very important..it not only gives the advantage that you said,it also has another most important advantage!!!It is that it can give similar characteristics of parent plant..if a plant has a good characteristics,then the resultant plant can also have this quality..so tissue culture can also be used for getting good quality plants..So i hope tissue culture be cheap..Because this should be adopted all around the world for its development!!
