Planning to start business

Thinking of really starting my own business as getting quiet bored at home. So just thought of getting some views.
I am thinking of starting a saree and dress material business from home which I can sell off on installments. Not investing much but need some good wholesaler contacts in Kolkata for bedsheet, nightie and kolkata cotton sarees. Have some contacts but if friends here in mylot can send me some good contacts.

It is good to have something to do while being a homemaker. I've been in food and drinks business for a long time not until I call it quits recently. It was good while it lasted but now I am looking for some home based business that isn't too demanding. I need to make a careful study before I decide what type of business is good for today's bad economic situation.
