Weird or Annoying (?) Discussions and Responses in order to get referrals

I'm sure you've come across a discussion where the discussion maker mentions about earning a good amount of money from a certain site but then will not tell the name of the site upfront because (quote and unquote) "It's not allowed to mention a site in discussions." Now, who says you can't divulge the information of a site? Isn't that the reason why we have a "make extra money" category? It is allowed to discuss the site, the earning method and additional info about a money-making program. What's not allowed is posting your referral links. What's not allowed is "baiting" or creating discussions where in your ulterior motive is for them to ask you the name of the site and for you to give it out via pm. I've seen some responses as well to questions about money making programs available on the net where members will say, "PM me and I will tell you since it's not allowed to tell the name of such sites in discussions". Again, it's allowed to post the names of the sites just without your ref link. Why can't you just give out the names of such sites without referral links? I believe that if the site is a good one, those who are interested will be the ones who will ask you to be their sponsor. **Just talking out loud.

Yeah, I hate that too. as if the starter of that kind of discussion only want others to go on with his discussion. But it is really irritating. If I see discussions like that I tend to avoid it because I know it is not going anywhere. As if those starting those kind of discussion are threatened if they tell the name of the site.

Also, what if the person who's interested is already a member of the site that's being promoted by the discussion maker? It would be a waste of time on the part of the interested MyLotters.

Yes, you are right there! We all know that we go to posting or forum sites to scout for ways to earn and sites that really pays. But sometimes some people really are making a fool out of us in reading and replying in their post Anyway thank you so much for the best answer mark!

I agree! If the discussion is the one I am thinking about, the guy is a complete idiot! It was a complete waste of time. How can you discuss something when you don't even know what the poster is talking about? Playing Guessing games is against the rules apparently!

Ahahaha. Actually, this is not just for a specific discussion. I've seen a lot of discussions and responses with that kind of scheme. Instead of helping out some MyLotters who are actually looking for money making sites, it frustrates them instead. And how can we do a check and balance if the sites won't be unmasked? A lot of people still refer others to sites that are known scam. So, if we don't tell the names of those sites on discussions or responses, how will others (who knew of the actual status of the sites) let everyone know that those sites already turned scam?

You have a point yallit, actually i have come across discussions on earning with numerous sites but i seldom respond because i am not so familiar with those. The "PM me" style is a trick some of us do to maybe increase their referrals while the "baiting" style is one way of getting sites from other mylotters who are willing to suggest other sites. If its allowed to mention the sites in the discussions, then i think there is no reason why we cannot cite the sites we are talking about. This would be just being honest to all of us.
