Earthquakes, Hurricanes, Disasters

Can someone tell me what is your take on why all these disasters are occurring so commonly all over the world in places where they are not known to occur? Are they a sign? Do they point to something?

I have no idea, but I have been wondering the same thing. I will be interested to see what responses you receive. I live in Virginia and have experienced both. We lost our power for five days due to hurricane Irene. As I watch the weather, they are talking about another hurricane that could come this way. I don't know what is going on, but I don't like it!
