I have been starting to do push-ups nowadays. As much as I would like to do push-ups on the ground I cant! My arms cannot do it LOL So I can only do wall push-ups and/or sit-ups, but then I feel that as long as I work out hard, it will still keep me fit and slim especially my stomach, I dont like it. I try to do it like in 3 sets of 16, whew!
How about you, how many push-ups can you do in a day?

thanks!

I was never very good at doing a push up. it did not matter how i tried it was embarrassing. i was always better at doing situps instead. i am afraid i would be paid not to do the pushups if the situation arose.

Depends on the day to be honest. There are times where I can do anywhere from upwards to about thirty or forty to barely about three. There are a lot of times where my push ups tend to depend on my state and how often that I do it. Push ups are a form of exercise that have never found it into a regular part of my regime and it is something that takes a bit of careful maneuvering but it is something that can be done.
Sit ups is rather something that is more up my ally. I try and do several sets of them a day. There are a lot of times where I feel as if there are going to be a lot of times where sit ups are a bit more helpful and slightly more easier than push ups to say the very least. But that is just my opinion on the subject. Your mileage my in fact greatly vary.

Wow at least you are trying your best and it is rather difficult especially if you have some other important stuff to do everyday. I think it depends on the day too for me, sometimes I dont do it LOL
But now I am trying to do it regularly, so good luck!

Personally speaking, currently I could do 10 to 15 push-ups one time. But several years ago I used to do about 50 push-ups one time. Since then I began to work and spent less time doing exercises. Gradually my arm strength became weaker and weaker. Nowadays I've made a plan to do 100 push-ups every day in order to recover the arm strength.

Yeah if you have work and some other stuff to do, eventually you will not have enough time to do your daily exercise and yeah my arms are not that strong enough anymore compared to when I was younger LOL. It should be consistent so that you wont lose that strength and your body will be used to the stretching and exercise.

When i was in college i can do 3 sets of 40, but now i never do exercise again coz i'm too busy and lazy... Now if i can do just 10 times it would be an achievement.
