do you still court or woo the woman (or man) that you like?

Here in our country, traditionally before a couple becomes a couple, the usual courting takes place wherein a guy would have to do all it takes to impress or let the girl know his intentions and how serious he is in before she gives her sweet "YES" to him. In the older days, in the province usually, the guy would have to do chores such as chopping the wood, fetching water for the family, etc, and the family would have to approve the guy courting their daughter.
But with the modern times, with computers and cellphones, courting could still take place but then its electronic and theres no personal interaction. Sometimes parents or their own families would not even know the girl or guy until they have become a couple, or sometimes when the girl is already pregnant. Teenagers nowadays are very hasty in their decisions and most of the time leads to breakups and bitter relationships.
I believe that courting should still take place, because at this way, we will be able to know the intentions of the guy, and how serious he is in keeping the relationship. You have to prove yourself first.
Your thoughts mylotters?
Thanks!

Good point. Courting someone must have a personal interaction to each other so that you can easily the true intentions of the guy/girl and I believe in the word "Slowly but surely" since during the old times Pinoys are like that but today people like easy come easy go easy pregnant relationships which is somewhat bitter afterall. What a sad fact.
