Rice is one kinds of essential food for us. This is the most important food of all other country's. Every day need this food as lunch & dinner. Rice products several country's in Asia, Europe & Africa. Rice is favorite food for most of the peoples. Rice is keeps us growth, Strong & healthy. So human life can not think without rice.

It is one of the essential food for us. A lot of cultures treat it as main . There are a lot of recipes for making rice.

I agree with you fully, but because of diabetes neither me nor my wife eat rice any more, it is only once in a month she cooks pulao rice, may be with meat or veggy type, but we take half a plate with chapati or paratha with less ghee or oil.
rice keeps us healthy but also adds to ones weight..

I grew up with white rice. My mom made it and then I would put sugar and milk in it and eat it as a breakfast cereal.
Later I learned about mexican rice, and fried rice which you can add vegetables or meat.
I have even added a selection of rice pilaf and flavored rices to my ways of eating rice.
I would rather eat rice than potatoes.

Hi pintu, you said well. We take rice as a main food. Mainly the Asians eat rice as their main food, but it is well known to all that it contains lots of carbohydrate to keep our body strong and healthy. There are also so may recipes that is made from rice. I like to take rice.
