You can watch all kinds of cartoons on TV these days. You just switch to the cartoon channel and Voualia. I'm a grown man and I still enjoy watching some of the old toons going around the TV networks. But what do you think of all the new ones popping out everyday? I sit with my niece to watch cartoons from time to time, she's 4 years old and to tell you the truth I'm starting to worried about the cartoons being broadcasted these days. A think there is a lot of aggression in the new cartoons. I'm not going to quote any names here, but if you know what mean that's not necessary. Isn't that aggression going to accumulate into something else. After she's seen some of the new toons with action heroes or some sort of aliens, she's starting to imitate them and sometimes she can hit's you and when you ask her why, she say's because she's Ben Ten for an instance. When she watches Tom and Jerry or The Pink Panther, even though they are fighting and chasing most of the time, somehow it looks smooth and doesn't create tension, she laughs and just enjoys watching them. Oh well, maybe I'm just old fashioned.

The cartoons that are produced today are not as good as those in the past. They just get on my nerves. I saw on the news the other day about a study of watching sponge bob square pants can be detrimental to kids as young as four learning and their self control. It seems to be the fast pace of the cartoon. Nickelodeon disputes the finding saying the show is for six to eleven year olds. But can it be good for them either?

Watching cartoons is not so bad but some cartoons now-a-days became hard to watch due to the violence and exagarated stunts even some children got hurt by imitating it.
