This year has seen a lot of mixed results for the big boys and after the recent performance we have seen defending champions Egypt not even qualify for the tournament next year! Any predictions of the other big teams that might not be playing?
I am super excited to watch South Africa vs Niger kick off now, hoping Mphele passed his fitness test as he is coming off a nasty knee injury.
Namibia, another lowly ranked team showing no respect for the bigger teams and seems to have done enough to qualify. So you huys watching the competition as well?

Nigeria is playing really rocky right now, I am not convinced they will do anything special.

The Africa cup of nations is really exciting. Last year's tournament in South Africa was really exhilarating. There were a lot of ups and downs and some really exciting and unexpected outcomes as well. Many of the players are big name players in Europe and they are usually the stars in their European Teams and that makes it even more exciting. I am confident that the following one would be as exciting as well and that there would not be any disappointments.

There was no African Cup of Nations last year in South Africa, it happens every 2 years. Egypt won the last one and is not in the current one.
