One Family member's death causes whole family drama.

Let me start off by saying I love my family and I know they love me but they don't know anything about me and my mom and siblings just like I don't know anything about them. It's like this: my grandfather died and he left my mom the person in charge of everything, including taking care of my grandmother who suffered from a stoke over 9 years ago. That is not a problem for my mom or me. We even started moving in to her home because she has a bigger house we all can live in and my mom and I lives 25 miles away. But just yesterday, it has become a problem for my aunts and uncles. They don't understand us because we never see each other. We have seen each other the past week only because my grandpa was dying and died. Other then that, I haven't seen a few of them since May and others since December. This is my way of venting but I also want to know is how do you handle family drama? How do you become closer? I just want to live with my grandma and mom because I wanna help, especially since I am almost an adult.
