First Salary in First Job.

It's so nice to have a job, spend your time with work and gain more knowledge, skill and friends.
First month in my job was a bit scary but exciting.
My schedule is not fixed, I have 10am to 6pm, 2pm to 11pm, 5am to 2pm and 11pm to 8am, basically, I spend most of my day to work which is 9 hrs, 3 hrs. of transportation from Manila to Bulacan, 1 hr. for dinner and breakfst, 1 hr. doing some stuffs..
Nevertheless, after one month of deadly work :)), there's an incentive to balance your living, the SALARY,(yipee), and also my first time to have an ATM Card, I dont even know that you must change it's PIN Code before you can use it, thanks to my colleague, she reminds me on this matter, I checked my balance first, "I said, oh wow, this is great (haha)", the first thing that comes to my mind, is what am I going to buy, a car, a house, helicopter (just kidding), but what I bought first is a toothbrush, why???

My first job was as a Management Trainee. My salary is considered higher than the average (call centers are not yet established that time that's why) back then. My schedule is also shifting, my work is challenging and physically tiring for me. Getting your first salary is really exciting. I still remember what I bought using my first hard earned money, it was a lipstick :)

Hello there,
Yes it is really nice to hold your salary at last.
Receiving it is usually the best part of the month.
Although sometimes you are not cautions in spending it because you know you are going to receive another pay next month.
Now you are a little bit complicated because you can use the ATM machine

That's very practical of you to buy a toothbrush for your first salary!
I think the first thing I bought with my very first salary was a pair of jeans. I think you really need to save up for that car you want, if your commute is 3 hours everyday. It will put you in debt, but it would be easier on yourself as you wouldn't get tired sitting in traffic for a good portion of the day.

lmao when you mentioned the things that you thought of buying with your first salary... Thanks for your discussion, I remembered how exciting receiving ones paycheck (or ATM card) for the first time is. Congratulations and may you share some of your blessings to your family. It's nice to treat your family out in a fancy restaurant, you know.
