Hi Everyone! I was about to download music form my computer. When i insert the USB into the lot, a notification suddenly appeared saying "[Explore.exe - Application Error , The attempt was made to execute an illegal instruction. (0x000001d) occurred in the application at location 0x7calf531]" It keeps on appearing and the icons on my desktop is not functioning so i restart my computer , luckily the notification was gone. Is it a serious problem? I'm afraid to used my USB again. By the way what is debug?

Its either you have spent up all of your resources or a program wants to execute from the USB Thumb Drive. Try scanning the USB Thumb Drive first then scan your computer for malware - use Malwarebytes after that, perform a Disk Check for your computer and perform a Defrag. This should fix your issue.

Seems like your USB has a virus in it or some malicious content. I suggest you scan your USB first before using it. If your AV detected no virus, try stopping all other running application and see if you'll still encounter the same problem. One cause of this is insufficient system resources, causing a slow response from your pc. Try updating your pc also to the latest patches. If all of this doesn't work, just reformat your usb drive, if it doesn't contain any important files. Debug means fixing your computers from bugs (missing dlls, corrupted exe, etc.)
