Feel I missed my chance

My husband went out to sea and before he left I had an apt with fertility. They wanted me to do a procedure where they shoot a fluid into my ovaries to check for blockages. This means taking birth control before the procedure. I was on it for about a week and than you go in and they do a test. Anyway the procedure was done and it looks good. Now my husband is gone for awhile and I feel I missed a chance at trying to concieve our third. its been 3 years and nothing. I just started ovulating on my own. Im feeling upset by this, like maybe I shld have done the procedure after he left if I didnt get pregnant. It was a painful event though and i needed his supposrt the day of and after. My sister in law who is as fertile as a rabbit is about to give birth to their fourth and I have a cpl friends who just found out their pregnant. This is so depressing.
