Actually flax seeds are high in fiber and any food that is high in fiber helps you in weight shedding. Eating flax seeds also help stabilize you blood sugar levels, so the energy that you get from eating lasts longer and also keeps you feeling full. i have also read that flax seeds are unique because they swell up in your intestine to form a gel like substance. i add them in a small ratio while baking cookies, biscuits for the family, in the daily bread flour and i have made a powder of them after simply roasting. that i take a spoonful, early morning with a glass of water. it is really good.

I am trying to lose a little weight. I work for a grocery store and have seen many products come through the line that have flax seed in them. I will have to check them out for myself. I've been doing ACV, and I know it will help, but I do need more fiber in my diet so flax seed may be the way to go.

My Mum bought some a few months ago and she tried herself. She heard on the radio that it was really good for you and it would help to lower her cholesterol levels. Then she heard something else about the seeds rising some other type of fats in the blood and she stopped drinking it. She would just pour the seeds in a glass of water and drink it. I wondered how she did that everyday.

i get to be truly interested in this discussion that you have posted. i am doing everything to lose weight and be down to 55 kg, the weight which will be most comfortable for me, that is, per the doctor's advice.
until now though, i haven't and could never manage to get back to this desirable weight. as of now, i am seven and a half kilograms higher or a little lower at best.
i don't know anything about flax seeds though. i am thanking you for opening my mind about this product. i hope that somehow i can easily have access to this product as this can help me in my health condition well and good.

I have Flax seeds too but haven't used them on any food in the last couple of weeks. I forget about them. I didn't know they could get rancid though.

I tried it but it doesn't work for me. My body can't get rid of the fibers and I only will feel more sick an my belly gets swollen like a balloon. So it's good to try it out first before you add it to everything.
